Calhoun Tanks and Services can provide several different types and sizes of tanks.
Bulk Propane – NH3 Tanks, UN Propane Tanks, ISO Tanks, IMO Containers, Cargo Tanks and D.O.T Pressure Vessels and Non-Pressure Vessel. Calhoun Tanks and Services is accredited in accordance with the “National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels Inspectors” (“R” Stamp) to repair or alter tanks. Calhoun Tanks and Services is also a certified D.O.T facility with two D.O.T Inspectors with over 40 years of experience.

Bulk Propane Tanks / Bulk NH3 Tanks

Calhoun Tanks and Services can design, engineer and install tank(s) on cement piers. We can do standalone tanks or integrate to existing tanks. Our system will be completed per NFPA 58 requirement’s. Our standard designed skid mounted tanks have a single bulk head with breakaway riser connections. Some options are: Second bulk head is which would give you the ability of off-loading a transport and load a bobtail at the same time, Pump, Electronic Controls and a Meter can be added. Calhoun Tanks and Services can design, engineer and build a custom skid that meets all of your requirements. Our skid mounted system will be completed per NFPA 58 requirements. We can build a skid mounted tank in nearly any size 7,500-30,000 gallons. |
Port-A-Pack systems

Our Port-A-Pack systems are tanks that are mounted on a trailer chassis which enable’s the empty Port-A-Pack to be moved as needed by a Semi Tractor. Our standard designed Port-A-Pack has four sets of heavy duty commercial landing gear, so once you have the unit in place all you need to do is set the landing gear down and fill the tank. Our standard design is built with a single Bulk head with breakaway riser type connection. Some options are: Second bulk head which would give you the ability of off-loading a transport and load a bobtail at the same time, Pump, Electronic Controls and a Meter can be added. UN Portable Tanks

We build UN Portable Tanks — these can carry either Propane or Butane and have replaced the obsolete Spec 51 Tank. Frames and tanks are built to ASME, D.O.T, ABS, IMDG and CSC standard codes. These tanks have forklift pockets and corner casting which allows the stacking of these units.

ISO Tanks

ISO Tanks have a capacity of 6500 gallon tank approved by Coast Guard for shipping on the waterways.
